The Deadly Trading Bias Affecting Stock Market Traders

#BernieCornfeld @stynydan what do you think of $WY?

@BC I never buy a stock against 1st test of 50ma (26.44 today) after an extended decline, particularly if MA is still heading down with some speed..also res. in this area from early Feb dbl-top and last Fall 3x bottom. If I were long I would sell..good short with stop above 50ma..

Taking some profits in IBB had bounced nicely from weekly support and now is at 20ma..In my exp the first test of a sloping 20ma after a extended decline very high failure rate.

$IBB Bottom?

I’m wondering if the “BAD” news (Hillary/Bernie bashing) is mostly discounted and this is the time to buy when sentiment seems terrible…chart wise $IBB has been a poster chart for traditional TA..(elliot wave, fib. ret.,action around MAs, swing proj’s. etc..) IMO r/r does not get any better than $IBB 250~ (int term)

The futures have tried to rally off the open but have stalled at yesterdays multi-high resistance level, 1128.  Note that this rally was also back into the more significant resistance of the channel breakdown on the 135 min chart:
