Dan has nearly 35 years of trading experience, both as an individual trader as well as a fund manager. Areas of expertise include a wide range of Technical Analysis Techniques; Portfolio Management and Equity Curve Analysis; Trading System Design and Development; Scanning and Filtering Strategies for Automated Trade Identification and Monitoring.

He has spent the last few years mentoring a number of traders, and has enjoyed helping others master the markets.  He started a mentoring group in 2010, and has been working on a set of educational videos that could be easily accessible for other traders.

Dan lives in Northern California with his wife and three dogs.

1980-1982 – Bechtel Corporation, Nuclear Engineer
